About the Project

Maccabit Road serves as a critical crossroad within the Trans-Israel Highway network, traversing through Petah Tikva, Kiryat Ono, and Givat Shmuel, ultimately connecting to Route 4.

Spanning approximately 10 kilometers, the road’s construction was intricate, involving the creation of a sunken bed. To mitigate the impact of traffic noise and air pollution on the adjacent residential neighborhoods, imposing acoustic retaining walls, reaching heights of 17-20 meters, were erected.

The comprehensive project encompassed infrastructure enhancements, a 400-meter-long tunnel, the construction of five bridges, retaining walls, extensive earthworks, and road development.
