Casting Depot 25
The enormous casting job carried out at Depot 25 in Jerusalem was the opening act in the construction of the city’s light rail depot.
This depot serves as the maintenance and operations epicenter for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) in the heart of Jerusalem. The project commenced with an immense excavation, creating a cavernous space covering approximately 23,000 square meters and plunging to a depth of around 40 meters. In the initial phase, over 350 mixers and 5 pumps worked in synergy to cast approximately 3,000 cubic meters of concrete through the night.
From its inception, this project has witnessed a variety of additional castings, varying in scale and significance.
