About the Project
The project for constructing the interchange included upgrading Route 4 between Sde Uziyahu and Gan Yavne and rearranging the intersections in the Ad Halom industrial area, Gan Yavne, and Be’er Ganim-Sana.
The works involved the establishment of an interchange with nine bridges, vertical separation for Israel Railways at the southern entrance to the city of Ashdod, upgrading Route 4, and the construction of a pedestrian bridge over the Lachish stream.
Additionally, the project encompassed extensive landscape rehabilitation, including the restoration of a historic Mamluk bridge.
